As you may have heard, today the Florida Society of Goldsmiths' (FSG) Board of Directors announced a strategic transition that will integrate FSG’s programs and community into Metalwerx in 2026.
Founded in 1998, Metalwerx is dedicated to promoting the art of jewelry and metalsmithing through exceptional year-round classes, studio space, outreach, events, and membership within a supportive community of artists and learners.

We are honored to carry forward the legacy of FSG. Their commitment to membership, community, and education is core to our own mission and values, and we’re so excited for what we can create together.
More importantly: we’re thrilled to welcome you to the Metalwerx community in 2026! Your membership will automatically transition on January 2, 2026 to a Bronze-level Metalwerx membership. In addition to your FSG membership benefits, you will also have access to all the benefits available to our Bronze members for a full year.
We’ll be sending more information as the transition gets closer. There is nothing you need to do to transition your membership – we’ve got it covered!
